We had a picnic on the beach at a very nice spot.
There were a lot of geekos on the island and they were very interested in what we were eating. Amy was not so eager for them to be around....
"I better eat my lunch quickly before the geekos get it"
Along the way, Amy developed a fun game for the beach. It was very simple. The waves were fairly rough so the best we could do at times was walk our way into the water and see how far we could get in before being knocked over. It was much more fun than it sounds.
After the game, we headed back to the villa for some more relaxation. We happened upon a beautiful thing on our way to the villa. The magic of turtle love, and Amy was quick enough to make a video of it.
That night, we went back to Sunset bar, this time for a private BBQ (we had the whole bar to ourselves). It rained on and off, but we were covered from the rain. The food was great as were the views and service.
This is what we called our breakfast of champions - Marcus was a great cook!
One night we had dinner on the porch outside our room. Marcus to the rescue again....
The next day (our final full day), we woke up to find a visitor in our backyard - a turtle. Anthony was very exicted about this so he approached the turtle who seemed quite comfortable. There was a big number "3" painted on the front of the turtle's shell. Ironically, we were staying in villa 3. Amy had a great idea to feed the turtle a passion fruit which it loved. After that meal, the turtle went to find some shade under a tree in our backyard and snoozed for 2 hours. We decided we needed to come up with a name for the turtle. Not knowing whether it was a "he" or a "she" we came up with a name that would work for either sex - "Pat".
Anthony got into the action with feeding Pat also - this time with Apples. Check out the video below.
After playing with Pat and relaxing, we decided to take one more set of drinks at Sunset bar before coming back and getting ready for dinner. The sunset was nice. We had a little photo shoot on the beach thanks to the bartender.
An amazing thing also happened to Anthony on the island, he had the magical ability to shrink things just by looking at them. Even Amy feel victim to these magical abilities.....
Luckily for Amy, Anthony also knew how to reverse the spell so Amy was rightsized so we could go to dinner. There was a very secluded spot overlooking the water that was set up for our last dinner on the honeymoon. The waves were crashing, the candelight was everywhere (Amy's favorite) and we could order whatever we wanted. The food was great, but the company was greater. We recounted how great the honeymoon was and how excited we were to get back to London and start our lives together.
After dinner, we anxiously went back to the villa to check to see if pat was still with us - luckily he was.
We got to bed early because we had to leave on a 6am helicopter to get to the airport for the flight back to London. Amy was unhappy to leave paradise.

The Emirates plane was the nicest we have ever been on. It had 1100 tv stations to choose from. It looked like a hotel room. You could even close off the seat to the rest of the plane. Incredible.
We landed safely and got back to our apartment. After 3 weeks of relaxing in the sun, the honeymoon was officially over. It was a fantastic time. We went to some great places, got nice sun tans, ate great food, had terrific drinks but most of all we enjoyed all the time we got to spend with eachother with no distractions (wedding planning, work, etc). It was the best trip of our lives!
