Amy was a bit cold to start the day.

Time to get into the water. Nice form Amy. Anthony had to ponder whether he really wanted to do this….
OK, time to submerge – away we go.
The dive was great. We got down and saw a number of sharks, sting rays, eels and tons of other fish. One of the best dives of the trips thus far. Anthony was getting comfortable with diving. Because of the current we ran out of air more quickly so it was only a 40 minute dive (or was it all that heavy nervous breathing as we were watching the sharks swim by?). We had to wait 45 minutes between the two dives each time so Amy used this as an opportunity to work on her tan.
In between dives, we saw a big sailfish with the sail on the top of the water (this is relevant for a later blog).
We made it successfully through dive number 4 which was equally as interesting – we even saw a huge 6 foot long Manta Ray which was rare for those waters at that time of year. Anthony felt very content with his diving experiences.
After a quick lunch, we hung out at the Reethi beach for a bit. Anthony loved the water (as usual).
Then, in the afternoon we took out a foot paddle boat to a reef to do some snorkeling. There were tons of schools of fish around and some pretty large fish hovering around – very good snorkeling. And the debut of the underwater video from the camera Amy bought Anthony is below. Pretty cool.
After the reef snorkeling, we went back to the villa for some relaxation – Anthony couldn’t get enough of the water so jumped in for some more snorkeling. There were a bunch of fish around the villa as well.
For dinner, we headed to Fanditha – an outdoor restaurant on the beach. It was a very cool spot.

There were tons of crabs coming back to their homes for the night on the beach.
All was well, until….it started to rain.
After getting a towel, moving the table to under an awning, we finished the meal and headed back to the villa.
