Dublin, Ireland - September 27

To Ireland we go. We flew to Dublin on Saturday morning and met Jeff Wesson (affectionately called Swess) in the airport for a few days in Ireland. First day was Dublin. After dropping off our luggage at the Shelbourne Hotel, we walked around Dublin, stopping for a traditional Irish breakfast (including some "Blood Pudding"). Following breakfast, we hopped on a bus to take a tour of the city. After hearing about Georgian doors and Trinity College and a few other sites, we happened upon the stop where everyone on the bus got off -

After touring the factory and learning about how guinness is made, we made our way to the top floor which was a round circular glass encased room with a fantastic view of Dublin. Entry into the factory also entitled you to tasting of some of their product -

After the factory, we continued our tour on foot and found some strange local flavor. Luck of the irish was with us...

We had dinner at the Shelbourne Hotel that night and then went to a bar on Dawson street which turned into an active dance party. Similar to the pictures of Anthony in leiderhosen, the bar/club pictures mysteriously disappeared.

Up early the next day for the first driving adventure on the wrong side of the street. We were renting a car to drive west from Dublin to Galway. Oh boy. Stay off the roads!
