Christmas in Florida

After spending Christmas morning at Leanne and Logan's house we jetted off to Florida where Tony, Jeanette, Mike and Julie were patiently awaiting our arrival. Jeanette had all the decorations out and ready for our arrival and both her and Tony were hard at work.

Mike and Julie were waiting for us all day to open presents. They were both very happy to see us arrive!

Taylor was also happy...

It was a great Christmas even though Matt and Vanessa were missed!

We spent a relaxing week down in Florida and Anthony's friend, Walter, even managed a quick visit. Next on the agenda, however, was New Years. Tony and Jeanette had their own plans which left Amy and Anthony to fend for themselves. Luckily, we were able to get a table at sunset at La Playa. It was a beautiful night.

By the time we got home, Tony and Jeanette were dressed for their big night out. We reminded them to behave and be home by curfew and sent them on their way.

Despite being tired and pregnant, Amy did officially make it up to 12 to celebrate!

The big news of the week happened after Tony declared it was easy to cook dinner every night. So the ladies put their feet up and decided to let the men do the work! Everything seemed to be going well until Anthony realized Tony had frozen the chicken they were supposed to cook that night! Fortunately, everything was sorted out and Amy and Jeanette were presented with a lovely dinner.

We sadly left the Sunday after New Years back to the bitter cold of the Northeast. However, our trip home was not without excitement as we landed at Newark just as there was a security breach in the Continental terminal. We had to wait on the plane for two hours! When we finally de-planed, the lines at security were unbelievable. What a trip!
