Christmas at the Martin's

The week before before Christmas, we headed up to Norwell to celebrate Christmas with Amy's family. We had a jam packed week planned including helping Grammy baby sit Luke and Teddy. On the agenda for the day... free play at Gymboree! Here is a good one of the boys on the slide.

The next night, we were off to the official basketball team of our family - the Celtics! We met Jen and Kevin in Boston to see a good game between the Pacers and the Celtics- we won!

On Christmas Eve, we continued with our new tradition of helping Habitat for Humanity. This year Amy's Aunt Cathy and her cousins Drew and Hannah joined in on the fun. Unfortunately for Amy, the main project was painting which due to Amy's delicate condition she could not participate. Here are some pics of the crew hard at work:

Anthony and Ed had to build a door/ closet before they could do the easy painting job. Here they are hard at work.

Doug overseeing the construction.

The finished product! Very impressive!

After the house, it was back to Amy's parents for the Christmas Eve festivities to begin. We started off with baking some cookies for Santa.

Mmmm... sprinkles!

Finally it was time to open the presents. Somehow, a pregnant Amy was deemed master of ceremonies and had to crawl under the tree... go figure!

Chaos ensued with three little boys tearing through their presents.

GramO and Grandbob were there to witness the mass hysteria.

We even tried to get all three boys in one photo... we were somewhat successful.

A cute one of a cooperative Luke.

Finally the night was over... boy were we exhausted.
