Moving Day (Part 1) - November 24th

Moving our things from London to NY started today, November 24th. It takes approximately 14 business days for something to leave London by air, work its way through customs, etc. and arrive in NYC. So, we kept aside what we needed for the next 3 weeks and prepared for the moving company to come and pack everything else up. The apartment will feel much more bare bones and less personal after this move (sorry Leanne and Logan, Hotel Anthony is being dismantled), but we're excited to begin the transition back to NYC.

We realized we havent really put many pictures up on the blog of the apartment where we've been living the last year and a half. Enjoy (and mind the mess...)

The master bedroom

The master bathroom

The library on the second floor. A cozy and nice room. If you look closely, you can see what was probably the most popular food delivery during our year in London....yes, a dominoes pizza box.

This was the view out from the desk in the library that Anthony always gazed out while he did work or was on calls. Red brick everywhere.

Amy's favorite part of he house - the top floor, open floorplan with living room, dining room and kitchen open to eachother. It was very nice (although the stairs up to the roofdeck got little to now use).

Room 2 of Hotel Anthony which has been named the "Ed Martin" suite after our best and most frequent guest at the hotel.

Room 3 of Hotel Anthony.

The moving company needed a big truck and lots of boxes. We dont remember bringing this much "stuff" here a year ago!

After a job well done, it was time for Amy to relax and have a cup of team.

The final moving day will be December 12th!

I loved the roof deck. It got some use when I was up there in October. We had some cigars and beers. Too cold last January though.
