Anthony and Mike arrived on the scene first on Wednesday afternoon. After a run on the beach, so relaxation poolside and checking into their bungalow suite, they headed to dinner at Emeril's in the Loews Hotel. Good food. Not a lot of drinking. The calm before the storm.

Then Anthony's friend of 25+ years, Walter, was the first to show all the way from Los Angeles.

The three of us hung out at the shore club bar on Wednesday night. Thursday morning was an early rise as we jumped in a car to head to Doral to play the famous Blue Monster golf course. On the first tee box - all smiles....

The course was very nice, but very tough. Walter found his way into literally every sand trap. Anthony found his way into more precarious places (but somehow pulled a par out of this hole!)

At the end of the round, on the last hole, we were still smiles. Mike won the day shooting a 92, Anthony a 96 and Walter had an unknown score (but had improved considerably over the last 6 months since our golf in Florida).

We headed back to the shore club for some massages for Anthony and Mike. Other members of the crew joined - Rich, Jeff and Phil. We headed out to a great steak dinner at Prime 112.

Afterwards we hung out at the Shore Club bar and got ready for our fishing adventure early the next day. Our resident licensed charter boat captain, Jeff, arranged for a half day of fishing on Friday morning. The crew was ready.

After catching some bait fish, we set out to troll for anything that would bite. FISH ON - the bachelor is up first. Anthony reeled in a fighter that tried to dive underneath the boat and every time Anthony got him close to the boat, he dove and took line. Eventually, after Anthony's forearms were good and tired, the mates got the fish on board. It was a 40-50 pound barracuda. Not something we were going to keep, but a very big fish with huge teeth. The next fish on was for the best man - a good size porgie.

Unfortunately, the fish weren't cooperating with us so other than a few smaller fish here or there, the trip was more about the coronas, sun and friends then reeling in big fish. No complaints here! We headed back to pool at shore club where we got a poolside lounge area and relaxed. If Walter was in this kind of shape after the "warm up" days - no telling if he would make it through the weekend.

Later Friday night, the arrival of our last two crew members completed the group - Pete and Dave. "Mind the hand, mate."

We headed to Nobu for dinner on Friday night. The sushi was good. The sake was even better - Pete ordered the largest bottle of sake ever seen.

Outside nobu before the club.

We headed to a miami club - bottle service, loud pounding music and dancing. The before....

The after...(jeff the next day by the pool dripping with sweat and re-hydrating with water).

After lounging by the pool all day, we headed to dinner at the Ganesvort Hotel.

We took a pit stop on the roof of the ganesvort before going to the Louis club in the basement.

Once we got to Louis, the best man swept into action (as he had been doing all weekend long). He first made friends with the waiter.

Then, we all got our dance on.

The crew headed out Sunday morning. Anthony, Mike and Phil headed to the airport after relaxing by the pool on Sunday and making one secret stop. Amy and her bachlorette party was at the Fountainbleau hotel in Miami on Saturday and Sunday, so the 3 guys headed over to spend a little time with the ladies on the beach before heading to the airport. It was fun to see Amy, Julie, Nora, Leanne, Lauren, and Tammy. Anthony then flew back to London (with the model Elle McPherson) and Mike and Phil headed back to New York.
The bachelor party was a complete success. Thanks to the boys for travelling down and for making it so much fun. Thanks especially to the best man for organizing everything and being the energy behind the party, even though he has been burning the midnight oil at work for the last two months!

Barracuda are the creepiest thing in the ocean, including sharks.
