The weather was perfect all weekend long. It reminded Anthony of his days at camp - the house was in the woods, the pond was beautiful - Anthony went kayacking every day around the pond, family games were played. We had some great breakfasts (thanks to Amy's father) and Anthony finally got a taste of the world famous (or Maine famous) ice cream shop, Giffords. It was fantastic. Anthony drools on command thinking about it. We went on walks, got to spend time with the 3 nephews (Logan, Teddy and Luke). Games were played daily - scrabble, dominoes, liverpool (which is a must).

Who knew that there was a movie named "Cars" where the cars actually speak. Wow! Go Lightin!
We had some great guc, nachos and margaritas at a place aptly named "margaritas". Anthony even had his birthday celebrated, but Luke stole the show.
The house is on a great pond - Parker Pond. Here is a good tour of the grounds and the pond. We were joined by 4 dogs, all of Amy's family including her three very cute nephews. Teddy was learning new words left and right (including his name, Auntie Amy's name and some semblance of Anthony's name). Logan also had some new tricks - walking from the dock to the big rock through the water. Impressive.
One night we made a bonfire in the backyard. It was smores time......yummy.....
And then the night was topped off with some sparklers which Logan and Teddy liked holding (Anthony too)
It was a great long weekend in Maine with the Martins. Anthony can see why Amy loves spending time in Maine and can only imagine the good times that were had by Amy and her sisters and brother growing up. Cant wait for next year!

Also I am upset that you guys went to margaritas without me!
I was very upset that when we went to Giffords for the second time that Auntie Amy was not there to sit next to me!
