Around lunch time, we were getting desperate and almost....
We resisted the urge, and continued our sight seeing at the Tower of London, home to man eating ravens, the crown jewels (crowns, royal sceptor, the orb) and funny british people in red uniforms and a big furry hat (which Amy reminds us takes a whole bear to make one hat):
From the Tower of London, we had a brief scare that we would be run over by a runaway boat on the dock
But luckily, the captain had a little more experience than the captain of "Sweetly" in Mamaroneck, NY so all were safe (it helped the boat had bow thrusters....). On the boat ride, we passed the famous London Eye (which goes around in a circle at the speed of 2 miles per hour and provides great views of the city) and Big Ben and Parliament (made famous by Chevy Chase's European Vacation - "Look Kids, Big Ben and Parliament")
After a big day of sight seeing, we headed to Rules which is a traditional English restaurant that was opened in the 1700s. After some good rabbit, deer, liver and all the traditional english fixings, the clan got some rest before the train to Paris.
