Christmas Day with the Civales

After waking up at 7am in Norwell, MA, we started to drive down to Scarsdale to spend Christmas Day with Anthony's family. There were very few people on the road, so we made great time and arrived right on schedule at 10am. The Civales were eagerly awaiting our arrival because it meant the start of the present opening ceremony as well as the secret santa game. Not to brag, but Anthony successfully guessed who got each person the secret santa gift and won the special prize. Since Anthony was the buyer of the special prize, he passed it along to the person who had the next highest number of guesses correct - Julie. So, another year of Mike yelling WINNER WINNER and Vanessa being a little disappointed. Next year is your year V!

In addition to the immediate family, Anthony's Grandma, Aunt, Cousin and family joined in the fun of Christmas Day along with the newest member of the Civale family - Mike and Julie's dog, Maddy.



Anthony's mom had given him a great gift for Christmas - a photo album of their summer in the Hamptons. Olivia loved the book so much and wanted to look at it again with Amy. Olivia's favorite picture? The last one of Amy and Anthony kissing!





Anthony's grandmother had an old fashioned sleep over at Anthony's house on Christmas Eve and was bright eyed and happy on Christmas Day!



You always need to take a picture in front of the tree at Christmas time - usually with friends or family though...



Anthony was going a little crazy with the camera and got up in his father's face like a fashion photographer saying "give me more smile, more energy". So, Tony obliged.

Alexandra would not leave Maddy's side, but we think Maddy may have been a little tired from Christmas Eve and all the excitement over Santa!
