First Trip to London

We went to London for the first time together on July 10-13 for apartment hunting. We saw 25 places in a few different areas of London - Mayfair where Anthony's office is, Kensington, South Kensington and Knightsbridge. Amy fell in love with this "cute" apartment near Harrod's (shocking that it was very central to shopping areas) that we know Mike would have enjoyed (the color purple was everywhere), but the final two contenders were the first and last apartment we saw over the two days.

Luckily, we were able to agree with the Landlord for our top choice which is a beautiful place in Kensington (on Kensington Court). It is a three floor apartment in a townhouse with a roofdeck and 3 bedrooms (plenty of room for all the visitors we expect to have)! And, luckily for Anthony, there is a new working elevator.

Amy swears she'll be spending a lot of time in this great kitchen (with the blue little shoes on)

A lovely roof terrace for the 2-3 days its sunny in London

After the apartment hunting, we did a whirlwind tour of many of London's sites including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. See below for the first of many Amy and Anthony pictures in front of big important monuments in Europe!
